Gergely Simon Senior Tax Manager

Dr. Simon Gergely, senior manager, joined Mazars in 2023. He is the operational manager of the Mazars tax consulting group. Gergely is a lawyer and economist. During his professional career, he spent a significant amount of time in the tax and legal consulting department of one of the Hungarian Big4 companies, and after that he led the tax function of an Austrian-based multinational corporate group. Gergely has extensive experience in corporate taxation, international taxation and M&A taxation. During his career, he participated in and led the tax consultancy of numerous structuring, due diligence and company merger projects. In addition to general tax consulting, Gergely has extensive experience in issues related to the taxation of real estate investments and the taxation of family businesses. Gergely speaks English and French.
