Kussel Peter Senior Manager, Head of VAT compliance

Péter Küssel joined the Tax and Legal department of Mazars Kft in 2011, where he currently works as a senior manager in the Hungarian office of Mazars. He qualified as a chartered tax advisor in 2014 with Training Centre of the Chamber of Hungarian Auditors (MKVKOK). He provides tax advices in all types of taxes particularly including VAT and so-called EKAER (Electronic Public Road Trade Control System) and has a strong customer focus. He has extensive experience in the Hungarian VAT registration and related obligations of foreign entities. Moreover, he is also familiar with the Hungarian VAT refund procedures for non-Hungarian entities. In parallel with this, he participates in non-Hungarian projects in which he supports Hungarian taxpayers in the VAT registration in other EU states and coordinates VAT refund procedures of Hungarian entities abroad.
